Alexander Albon made his Formula 1 debut in 2019 with Toro Rosso. The Thai-British driver impressed and was promoted by Helmut Marko during the summer break to Red Bull Racing, replacing Pierre Gasly who moved in the opposite direction. Albon was also Max Verstappen's teammate at the Austrian team from Graz in the 2020 season but had a reserve role in 2021. In 2022, he will be racing for Williams.
