Red Bull sells old Toro Rosso of Verstappen to support charities

The Scuderia AlphaTauri team has put various items up for sale to raise money for the floods in Emilia Romagna earlier this year. AlphaTauri's factory is located in the region, and the team is keen to do its part to help. Among the items for sale are car parts and race gear from various drivers, including Max Verstappen and Nyck de Vries.

The most notable item for sale is the 2016 STR11, which Verstappen and Carlos Sainz drove at the beginning of the season. After a driver switch, Daniil Kvyat also raced with the STR11. In total, the team scored 63 points with the STR11 in 2016, with four sixth-place finishes as highlights. Verstappen also finished sixth in Bahrain but only raced for the team in four races in 2016.

If you buy this Formula 1 car, you will need to pick it up yourself in Faenza or pay extra to have it delivered. However, you have the option to choose between a neutral livery or the stickers of one of the three drivers. The current highest bid is 150,000 euros, but it is expected to increase significantly, with an expert estimating a price tag of 500,000 euros to around 750,000 euros. The fact that the car is being sold for charity may further drive up the price.

Verstappen's racing suit also for sale

In addition to the STR11, there are also many other collectibles for sale, including Verstappen's complete race gear from 2016, currently with a highest bid of only 300 euros. There are also various car parts for sale, including front and rear wings, an engine cover, and a sidepod. Nyck de Vries' race gear is also available, and there are even items for sale from former drivers Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo.
